Planning a trip to Disney world . First time!!!! With 4 kids in December. When asked how many adults and how many kids i don’t know if i should include my 2 year old in the number count?

Hi Zule! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Guess what? You and your family are going to the Walt Disney World Resort this year! Woohoo! I remember taking each of my children for the first time and there is nothing like it. I'm absolutely giddy with excitement just thinking about how special this will be for you guys!

When it comes to Disney Resort hotel room reservations and vacation packages, you will need to include your 2-year-old little one on the reservation. This is for safety reasons. Since Guests 2-years-old and younger are considered "Guests of Mickey," you will not need to purchase Walt Disney World tickets or a Disney dining plan for your littlest Mouseketeer, but you'll still need the additional Guest on the reservation.

When you make dining reservations for your trip, you will also need to add your 2-year-old to the total count for your table. Again, this is for safety reasons, but also so your table can be set-up appropriately.

I hope this helps with your plans, Zule! Please let us know if you have any other questions. We would love to help with the planning of your first visit!
