Planning a trip to Disney World for February 2020. When do the after hours event dates get released? Looking to purchase park tickets but want to purchase an after hours ticket as well and cant see any dates for them

Hi Danielle! We're glad you came back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I totally understand your anxiety to have every magical piece of the puzzle in place before purchasing your tickets for your February vacation. I felt the same way when I was planning my upcoming trip, so maybe my experience can help you.

Because the last announcement for Disney After Hours events came on March 28 and broke the news of nights like May 1, I'd suggest adding those Special Events to your plans after deciding on a hotel, tickets, dining reservations, and even FastPass+ arrangements. There are two very strategic milestones on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation plan, and both will likely be here before the announcement for February Disney After Hours nights.

To make sure you can dine at exceptional restaurants like Be Our Guest Restaurant or Cinderella's Royal Table, you will have to make your dining reservations precisely 180 days before your arrival date, on August 15. By then, it's strategic to have a Disney Hotel reservation linked to your My Disney Experience account, as well as a plan with your park days.

If you choose to stay at a magical Disney Hotel, you will be granted early access to the FastPass+ reservation system on December 13. This is super strategic to help you avoid long lines, and you'll need tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account to use this benefit. Because of those critical milestones, I'd suggest adding the Disney After Hours event to your plan as a magical bonus as soon as the dates are announced. What do you think?

If you have any other questions like this, please, come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Danielle. We are here to guide you through every step of this planning journey!

May the magic be with you,
