I am planning a trip to Disney World with family December 2010. My son will be 4 and my daughter will be 2 1/2. Will my daughter be able to enjoy the park experience? Are there rides/activities for children her age? Thank you!

    Hi Andrea,

Your daughter is going to love Walt Disney World.  Both of your children are at wonderful ages to experience all the magic that the parks have to offer.  Your daughter will most likely be able to go on all the rides that your son goes on.  If your son's a thrill seeker and tall for his age he may be able to experience a ride like Splash Mountain, but that would be an exception.

Magic Kingdom is full of great attractions perfect for pre-schoolers like Peter Pan's Flight, Pirate's of the Caribbean, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin along with many many more.

You should also check out the Traveling with Little Ones at Walt Disney World site.  There you will find attraction height requirements, travel tips, and customized maps highlighting the best attractions for your children.

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
