Hello Carlos! That is a great question! I’ll provide some clarification!
Guests who purchase tickets to visit the Disney Parks, must make a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the parks they wish to visit on specific days of their vacation. You can do that on your My Disney Experience account or app. Once you make your Disney Park Pass reservations, you can enter the parks on those specific dates!
With the exception of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT, Guests do not have to make reservations for specific rides in the Disney Parks. Guests can wait in line to ride any of the rides in the four Disney Parks! The person who told you about making specific ride reservations was most likely referring to the brand new Disney Genie+ feature. This paid upgrade to
Disney Genie service allows Guests to skip the lines by making ride selections on their My Disney Experience account. Disney Genie+ service costs $15 per ticket/per day.
Carlos, rest assured that you will get to experience the magical rides of the Disney Parks as long as you have a valid theme park ticket and a Disney Park Pass! Get your countdown started! You're very close to heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
