Hi Kim,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to see you planning a trip for a larger group and I am sending extra pixie dust your way for lots of patience!
Although the standard rooms at
value resort hotels might be the best in terms of price, I would also take a look at the family suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort Hotel. The suites can sleep up to six adults and come with two bathrooms as well as a kitchenette. The suites come with one Queen Bed, one Double-Size Sleeper Sofa and one Double-Size Table Bed. I adore this resort because of its decor and the Big Blue Pool! You could also try
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Each cabin sleeps up to six adults. They come with a Queen Bed, one Bunk Bed, and one Double-Size Sleeper Sofa. They also come with a kitchen.
As you make your decision, remember that you can request rooms in close proximity to each other, but requests are not guaranteed. Just plan your room arrangements carefully. On one trip, my mom and I shared a room with my girls while my aunt (mom's sister), her daughter and granddaughter shared a room at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Our rooms were not near each other, so we all just met at a central location at the resort in the mornings and departed together.
Kim, if you want to stay together, you could try Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. They have Treehouse Villas that sleep up to nine. Remember to check the
Special Offers as it gets closer to your dates!
Happy Planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
