I am planning a trip to Disney World in August for my family. When we've visited in the past I was able to connect us all as a group and see everyone that I was connected with on My Disney Experience. How is that done on Disney Genie?

Hey there Lisa and welcome to planDisney!

Our connections are so important. Our friends and our family are the real magic in our lives. The great thing is you can keep using the Family & Friends List during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation as you have in the past to connect with your loved ones. That connection also makes it easy to plan your day together with Disney Genie Service. To link yourselves together, just open up your My Disney Experience app and tap the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Click My Profile and Show My Linking Code. you can exchange Manual Codes and enter them or simply scan that handy little QRCode and you're all set.

Now since you're coming down in August, let me catch you up on all of the exciting new info that's been released in just the past few days! First and foremost, CHARACTER GREETINGS ARE COMING BACK!!!!! The Walt Disney World Resort will start phasing in the traditional hugs and autographs that we all know and love as soon as April 18th, so get your tissues together for that moment you can hug Mickey again. In attraction news, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be blasting into EPCOT on May 27th. So a visit to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is definitely in order before going to save the universe!

Lisa thanks for visiting with me today. If you have any more questions, come back again for another chat!
