I am planning a trip to Disney World April 16th of this year. We would like to see the Electrical Parade but I have a 4 yo who is terrified of fireworks. Is there enough time after the parade to exit the park and get on a resort bus before the fireworks?

    Hi, Rebecca!

Hakuna Matata! No worries, as you will have no problem making your exit after the 9:00 p.m. Main Street Electrical Parade before the start of  Wishes at 10:00 p.m.  I suggest watching the parade from the area just in front of the train station.  As soon as the last beautiful parade display passes by, you can zip right out of the exit toward your bus stop.

This is actually a really great plan to leave before the fireworks. Since most guests stay for Wishes, the bus back to your resort will be a bit less crowded by leaving right after the parade.

The really good news, speaking from experience, is that your little one will eventually enjoy the fireworks. My kids each went through that period of not enjoying them at all.  Now that my kids are teens, we always ride Splash Mountain during the fireworks because they love the view from the top of the ride. Who knew that there was such a learning curve with kids and fireworks!

Enjoy the parade, but not the fireworks, during your spring vacation in Walt Disney World!
