Hi there, Amber!
Welcome to planDisney. I am thrilled that you are sailing on the
Disney Treasure next year! It looks like an incredible ship with plenty of activities for the entire family!
I have not heard of any plans to serve food in
Disney's Oceaneer Club. I am sorry! I understand wanting to leave the ship for a fun
Port Adventure while ensuring your kiddo's needs are met. I suggest keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and Disney Cruise Line social media pages in case any updated information is released. You can also speak with a youth counselor about your options during one of the open houses that take place (usually on embarkation day).
Regardless of my plans, I feed my kids before dropping them off at the youth clubs. I also avoid venturing too far from the ship unless we have a family member on board, especially with young kids. Little ones sometimes get antsy for the rest of their family after a while in my experience. My youngest child was not ready to be left for a significant amount of time during our last cruise, although my oldest could have spent all day in Disney's Oceaneer Club!
You may want to consider a half-day Port Adventure where you could feed your child breakfast and then be back in time for lunch. There are usually some fantastic half-day options! My family actually prefers shorter Port Adventures so we can enjoy the pools in the afternoon while fewer Guests are onboard.
I highly recommend reserving brunch at
Palo Steakhouse during your
booking window! This adult-exclusive restaurant has phenomenal food and service! It is an ideal activity when you want a delicious, uninterrupted meal with your spouse while your kids play in the youth club. It was one of my favorite experiences on the Disney Wish!
Amber, I'm sorry this was not the news you were hoping for. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you can enjoy your preferred Port Adventure!
Happy sailing!
Jen
