I am planning on a trip to Disney, this time I want to build a lightsaber...How difficult will it be to get on the plane??

    Welcome to planDisney, Kev!

According to the Department of Homeland Security, Lightsabers are not currently considered a threat and are allowed in both your carry-on and checked luggage. If you wish to carry-on, it is best to check with your airline's carry-on luggage requirements to ensure it fits in the overhead compartment.

While Savi's Workshop is currently not available, you are able to still create your special souvenir at Star Wars Trading Post at Disney Springs. You will also want to check out Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities located in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios for some unique treasures to add to your galactic collection.

May the Force be with you, Kev!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
