Hello Kim!
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Well you've chosen all my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels in the Value and Moderate categories. Here are my pros and cons for each.
The Little Mermaid Rooms in
Disney's Art of Animation Resort are adorable if you have a Disney Princess fan! Plus, Disney's Art of Animation Resort has the largest pool and is the best for little ones since it is zero-entry. The con is that those rooms are usually more expensive than the rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort and they are the furthest away from the main building.
Disney's Pop Century Resort was the first Disney Resort hotel I stayed in with my family, so it holds a special place in my heart. Plus with the renovated rooms, now all rooms have queen-sized beds, which is a bonus! I like the giant icons and the theming, but for some people, it's not their jam. Everything Pop (the food court) can get crowded, especially at prime meal time, however, they serve Dole Whips. Worth it.
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is quaint and lovely. It also has romance and flair. I love the music, the vibe, and the intimacy, but most of all...I love the beignets! It's more expensive than the other resorts, but it's also more quiet.
I hope this helps! If I were bringing little kids, I would choose Disney's Pop Century Resort. If it were just my husband and I or if I had older kids, I would choose Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Whichever you choose, the magic is there at all of them!
Please come back and see us real soon if you have any other questions!
