Hi! We are planning a trip to Disney in the spring and are wondering which resort has the best pool? Also, do you know if the pools are heated? I am deciding between March, April, and May. I want to make sure its warm enough to enjoy the pool:)

    Hi Mae,

May is actually one of my favorite months to visit the Walt Disney World resort. Not only do I love the weather in May (hot, but not sweltering), but there are some awesome special events such as Epcot's International Flower & Garden Festival and Star Wars Weekends! Also the crowds are pleasant in early May before some schools let our for summer vacation.

According to The Weather Channel, the averages highs for Orlando for March, April, and May are 78°F, 83°F, and 88°F. What is pleasant weather for some may be too hot for others.

Stormalong Bay, which is shared by Disney's Beach and Yacht Club resorts is very popular among Guests. It includes beaches, a lazy river, and an enormous water slide themed by a shipwreck that will have you screaming from fun! A personal family favorite is the Nanea Volcano pool at Disney's Polynesian resort. The pool is surrounded by lush vegetation, a beautiful waterfall, and a thrilling water slide. It also offers a zero-depth entry if you have little Nemos that don't have lucky fins to help them swim. It truly feels like a tropical paradise.

The Walt Disney World resort's pools are heated and offer elaborate theming, so the possibilities are endless. I know you will have a splashtastic time at any of the pools!

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask away! Have a magical, fantastical vacation!
