We're planning a trip to Disney in Spring 2010. If I book a vacation package now, but a discount deal comes up before my actual trip, can I apply the discount to my reservation? Or is it better to wait for the specials to be announced and book then?

    Hi Marcia,

Great question!  I know for me, once I've made the decision to take a vacation...I want it booked pronto!  You'll be happy to know that if you have vacation package or a room-only reservation booked, and a better promotional deal is released they will allow you to convert your reservation to the new package, and apply any payments/deposits made to the new reservation.  Keep in mind that there are only a certain amount of rooms dedicated to promotions, so having a prior reservation does not guarantee that the promotional rates will be available to you for your stay.

So yes, If it were me I would book now, especially if it is for a popular time of year or you are unable to be flexible on your dates.

Currently they are only accepting room-only reservations for Spring 2010, the packages should be released sometime in late summer early fall of this year.

    Hope this helps!
