We are planning a trip to Disney Sept 26-Oct 1 (4 full days) with a 8 year old girl and a 2.5 year old boy. Do any of you have any suggestions of events/character meals we just have to do. The age difference is really throwing me for planning. Thanks!!

Hi Rebecca! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am glad to hEAR you are considering a Character Dining Experience during your visit to the WDW. There are many excellent options to choose from, and because of your kids age difference I can imagine how you feel about choosing the best for them.
There are two options I absolutely love and I think would be perfect for your family. The first one is Chef Mickey’s, a very special restaurant located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It is an all-you-care-to-eat buffet and while you dine, you will meet Mickey Mouse e some Disney friends for photos and autographs and even sing and dance with them.
My second option is Tusker House Restaurant, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. There you can meet Donald Duck and some of his friends for photos and autographs while you dine. And the food is delicious! Dining reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.
Hope this information helps your planning. Let us know if you have further questions.
    Have a wonderful day!
