I am planning a trip to Disney in 9/2008 and plan to stay at a villa with my family. To take advantage of the kitchen, what is the best way buy groceries if you don't have a rental car? Can you order from Peapod? Take a taxi to a grocery store? Thanks!

Unfortunately Peapod does not deliver in Florida, in fact Virginia is the most southern state that it delivers too.  You could take a taxi to the store, or if you are taking a cab or a towncar taking you to your hotel, you could ask the driver to stop by Albertsons Market, you can fax your order to Albertsons, they will gather your groceries for you, all you would need to do is enter, pay, and take your groceries, and off you go.  The website is www.albertsons.com.  You can order your groceries for delivery from a company called Gooding's online.  There is a minimum $50.00 order and a $20.00 handling charge.  It would be cheaper I think to just grab a cab from the hotel.  It's not that expensive, and you would spend less than $20.00 going to and from, you could have another cab return in an hour, so you don't leave the meter running.  There are 3 big grocery stores, Albertsons, Publix, and Winn Dixie, all within 5 miles of property.  *Gooding's online will not allow you to purchase alcohol, because of Florida liquor laws.
