Hiya, Karla! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Planning a Walt Disney World vacation for 20 people is a big undertaking, but you seem like an expert vacation planner (you’re using planDisney after all). I traveled to Walt Disney World last year with 15 people (including 4 toddlers!), so I’ve been there, done that, and I’m ready to help!
Walt Disney World does not currently offer any discounts for large groups, but I recommend you still check out the
special offers page. You may still qualify for discounts based on other factors, such as the number of nights you plan to stay or if you have any kiddos in your travel party. With such a big group, be sure to
call the Group Reservations line, which is for parties of 10 or more people. A friendly Cast Member will walk you through your options, get you all the information you need to compare vacation packages, and ensure that any applicable offers are applied to your stay.
The one tip I always give to folks planning a large group trip is about
dining. It can be difficult to get a table service reservation for that many people, so try making 2 or 3 separate reservations for similar times. Then talk with a Cast Member at the restaurant’s host stand an hour or so before your reservation to ask if they can seat your group near each other or if they can combine tables. Cast Members were often able to accommodate our request with advance notice, but I’m sure it varies by location and demand.
I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Karla. Pop right back to planDisney if you have additional questions. I’m sure it will be an amazing experience for all 20 of you!
Magical travels!
Matt
