Welcome Home, Carlos - and welcome to planDisney! It's always a great day to be thinking about your next Disney adventure, and yours certainly sounds like a pretty amazing one! I'll be happy to walk you through how to use your
Disney Vacation Club Membership to tack on a week in Florence after your magical trip to
Disneyland Paris. Let's get right to it!
There is so much flexibility in how you can use your Membership to unlock all sorts of vacations. From the Disney resorts around the world to getaways with
Disney Cruise Line,
Adventures by Disney, and
National Geographic Expeditions, DVC Members have so many options! You can also book stays at hotels and vacation properties around the world via
Interval International, which is where you'll hopefully be able to find a perfect spot in Florence to extend your travels.
Log into the Member website, navigate to "Destinations", then select "Interval International" from the drop-down menu. You can follow the prompts to "Book with Interval Online" and this will take you to a third-party site where you can search available properties without having to exchange points. For hotel stays, you can use
Vacation Points, cash, or a combination of the two (with a minimum of 20 points required).
Carlos, if you'd like some assistance with researching the available options and making your reservation, there are Cast Members at
Member Services who specialize in booking Interval vacations. You can call to get help, and to make your reservation when you're ready. Keep in mind that most stays will involve a one-time, non-refundable fee for exchanging your Vacation Points (currently $95, subject to change).
I hope this information is just what you were looking for so you can make that dreamy European vacation a reality! Thanks so much for coming to see us at planDisney, and please come back anytime if we can help with any other questions about Disneyland Paris or using your DVC Membership.
Stay Magical,
Susan
