    We are planning a trip to Disney in Orlando on Thanksgiving Holiday 2014 and wondered if the park was open Thanksgiving Day and if so what the hrs, of operation are for that weekend.

    Thanksgiving is an absolutely beautiful time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! All of the Parks and Resort hotels are all decked out for Christmas and it's really a feast for your eyes. Some of the most beautiful holiday decorations I've ever seen are at Disney Parks!

    The Parks are open on Thanksgiving Day. In fact, it's typically a very busy day in the Parks, so you'll want to make any Advanced Dining Reservations you are hoping for as early as you're able to. Reservations can be made up to 180-days in advance as that is typically when the Park hours are announced. You should be able to see the hours in the online calendar for Thanksgiving weekend around the middle towards the end of May.
