We are planning a trip to Disney in October. My son is small for his age (under 48 inches). Are there enough thrilling roller coaster and water slides for a boy of 8 years? Can you suggest any. Dumbo rides just will not cut it.

    Hi Nancy,

Your son will have plenty of thrill seeking rides to choose from.  My personal favorite roller coaster is Space Mountain and you only have to be 44 inches to ride it.  You can check the attraction height chart and see that your son will be able to enjoy almost all the roller coasters at WDW.

    Have a great trip

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
