I am planning a trip to Disney in October for my family 6 adults/2 kids (2.5 and 6mo). What would be the most economical choice for us to stay together? Also, do we need to register the 2 kids - what rides/activities would you recommend for them?

There are several accommodation options for large family groups coming to Walt Disney World.  The choices range from the family suites at the All Star Music resort to the new Treehouse Villas.  You might also consider the Fort Wilderness cabins although there is only one bathroom and for large groups that is often not a selling point!  Please click HERE to read more about the choices you have for large groups of five or more.  Younger children must be noted on the reservations and you can request cribs at that time.  If they are under the age of three they will not require park tickets.

To see a listing of rides and attractions best suited for young children please click HERE for the link to that page on the Disney website.  At the left you will see RECOMMENDED AGES and click on that.  Check pre-school and this will bring up three pages of ideas for this age group and they are sorted according to the different parks.  Please remember that you are the best judge for what rides will be best for you children.
