We are planning a trip to Disney in November and are looking at the week of Thanksgiving. Arriving on possibly Friday the 18th and leaving Friday the 26th. How are the crowds around this time? Weather?

Hi Kristal! November is a great time to visit Walt Disney World with temperatures averaging 75-80˚ with lows in the high 60's normally. You may need a light jacket or sweatshirt at night but it'll still be warm during the days. It is also traditionally one of the lowest rainfall times of the year.

Now as far as crowds go - the first couple of days, the 18-19th will be relatively low crowd-wise. Then from that Sunday on, it will steadily increase until the day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving itself and the weekend after are typically at the most crowded levels for the parks.

Navigating the parks during crowded holiday times like this is possible, if you plan ahead, book your advanced dining reservations and any other special activities you'd like to do and get to the parks right at opening to make the most of the day and getting on attractions. You can also just relax at the hotel and enjoy the pool!

I know many people that visit during Thanksgiving each year, so it's definitely doable if they keep coming back for more! I hope this helps with your planning and if you have any other questions, please come back and visit. Thanks!
