    we are planning a trip to Disney in November. If we are at Disney on a day that they are doing a Mickey's Merry Christmas Party do they tell you to leave if you don't have the special ticket? Also is it only good from like 4pm on?

    Hi Laura!

    The great Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins in November this year and will continue until right before Christmas making it easy for more guests to enjoy this special evening party in the Magic Kingdom. When you have purchased this ticket you will be allowed entry into the park around 4pm giving you three hours of "extra" time to enjoy shopping or dining or a few attractions. I know my family likes to grab a dining reservation during this time so we can fully enjoy the party once it begins at 7pm.

    For the guests who do not have a party ticket they will be expected to leave by 7pm. Cast members will do a "sweep" of the park carrying signs and encouraging all non party guests to head for the exit. When 7pm arrives non party guests will not be allowed into the attractions, shops, or restaurants. Cast members will politely ask anyone they see who is not wearing the designated wristband to exit the park. I have seen some guests try to linger and sit to watch the holiday parade but cast members are on the look out for them and they will be asked to leave. This has to happen to allow those who bought the special tickets the space and opportunity that the party gives them. Disney will only sell a specific amount of tickets for each party night so the attraction lines are short allowing guests to do far more then they usually could on any other park day.

     I love both of the Disney Magic Kingdom parties and try to hit them at least once each year!
