We are planning a trip to Disney in November. We have 3 children, 6,3, and3. Will it be really busy from the Saturday before Thanksgiving through Thanksgivng day?

    Hi there, Ann!

While I am hesitant to say with any certainty that Disney World will be at capacity the week prior to Thanksgiving, I can say that it will definitely be busy.

It's good that you are coming before Thanksgiving Day, however; the week immediately following Thanksgiving Day - from Thanksgiving Thursday to the next Sunday - is definitely a highlight week for attendance.

This is the first full week that the entire Walt Disney Resort is decked out for the holidays, with every possible festive occurrence in full swing, and people are anxious to kick off the joyous season in magical style.

But the week just prior to Thanksgiving is a much better option.

For more guidance with crowd levels and "working" the Parks, I highly recommend TouringPlans.com and the accompanying app, Lines. These statisticians use historical data and realtime information to provide predictions, wait times, and more.

    Have a wonderful holiday!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
