Hi, Jess!
Walt Disney World is in the midst of a pilot program for guests who wish to bring their dogs with them on vacation. There are
four Walt Disney World resort hotels that permit dogs in specially designated rooms. At this time, the All Star Music Resort does not allow anything other than
service animals to stay at the resort. A service animal is defined in terms of Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and must be an animal that is specially trained to work or perform tasks in aid of someone with a disability. Examples of this would be a seeing eye guide dog, a hearing or signal dog, or a psychiatric services dog who is trained to remind someone to take medicine or turn lights on in a darkened room for someone with PTSD.
Emotional support dogs, comfort animals, or therapy dogs do not qualify as service animals. However, you can reach out to Walt Disney World to see if there is a room available in a resort that does have speically designated rooms for pets. Another alternative is
Best Friends Pet Care. They provide daycare and overnight accommodations for animals in really fantastic facilities.
Thank you for your question, Jess.
