Planning a trip to disney next sept and I was wondering on stay at animal kingdom lodge sv room or in the treehouse villas?? We are dvc members and arent sure which one would be better with a 3yr & 1yr. Are the bus stops close to the treehouse

    Hi Michele,

Welcome to the Moms Panel from your fellow DVC Member!  I had the opportunity to tour the Treehouse Villas back in February and I was amazed!  The accommodations were beautiful, and the setting was so peaceful.  The one downfall that I noticed was that they are quite remote, and I figured then that when we stay there we would need to have a car with us.  There are only two bus stops within that resort, and they are at opposite ends.  So if you are placed in one of the mid-resort villas it could be a bit of a walk either way.  Each villa has it's own parking space, so for those that have a car I think it would be an ideal choice.

I think the major draw to staying at the Animal Kingdom would be the swimming pools.  They have fabulously themed and toddler friendly swimming pools.  It should be quite hot in September so this might be something to consider.

My favorite website for exploring photos and resort maps of all of the Walt Disney World options is www.allearsnet.com.  Simply click on accommodations for a complete and detailed photo library of all the various resorts.

    Hope this helps!
