I am planning a trip to Disney with my nephew and I really don't know where to start he will be ten and I am saving for this trip now so that we may go any time next year. I am on a tight budget cause I am a college student. what time of year do I go?

    Hello Erica,

You should be called a Fairy Godaunt! What you're planning to do is a wonderful thing for you and your nephew!

I know firsthand that traveling from Ohio to Florida is not cheap. But you still can make this trip magical for the two of you! Disney has accommodations at all price levels. And what's great about staying on Disney property is you'll be able to take advantage of so many great things such as Extra Magic Hours and Disney transportation (another way you'll save some cash). If you're looking to pinch pennies, I'd recommend staying at one of the Disney Value Resorts. And to save even more, consider going during a "value season," usually in January or September. You might appreciate getting away from the cold and snow if you go in January!

You may also want to keep an eye out on the Special Offers page. Here Disney always lists the latest discounts of which you can take advantage.

Hope this helps. Good luck! And let us know if we can help in any other way!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
