We are planning a trip to Disney in May 13' & staying at All Star Movies. Are there any fun/special things to do that are aimed more towards boys? They are 6 and 1 and I want to make this trip special. It's my 3rd visit and my husband and kids 1st.

    Hi Erica,

There are some fun activities that I would say are geared slightly more towards boys, although plenty of girls enjoy these experiences too!
    • At Pirates League in Magic Kingdom, your little swashbuckler can get a makeover, complete with pirate lessons and a new name to match his new look.
    • At Ridemakerz in Downtown Disney your sons can make their own radio controlled car and even try it out on the test track.
    • Jedi Training Academy at Hollywood Studios is a favorite experience for all aspiring Jedis
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe may not be a "special experience," but my two boys insist on dining there on every vacation.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
