We are planning a trip to Disney 1/1 through 1/7/22. Looking at the park hours I noticed that no fireworks/nighttime shows are listed for Epcot or Hollywood Studios. Is this accurate?

    Hello Beverly,

It's wonderful to see you here with us at planDisney! It's also wonderful to hear that you're planning to kick off your New Year in Disney style with a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. What an exciting and magical way to start the year!

I'm glad to hear you're checking out the Park Hours Calendar as a way to help you make your plans. The Park Hours Calendar makes for a great way to check the scheduled theme park hours, Park Hopper availability, extended evening hours, and scheduled fireworks and nighttime entertainment.

When you check out the Park Hours Calendar for the dates you'll be visiting, you should see that Harmonious, the new EPCOT nighttime spectacular that debuted October 1 as part of "The World’s Most Magical Celebration," is scheduled to light up the sky at the World Showcase. What better way to celebrate a day at EPCOT than experiencing your favorite Disney music and stories in a spectacular show!

Beverly, did you know you can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to help you make and manage all your magical plans to enjoy your theme park fun? Showtimes for each of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks are available at a glance on the app's home screen. You can also use the map pin icon in the app's main menu to quickly locate entertainment, and when you tap to get more info on entertainment, you'll see showtimes as well as the "Add to My Day" feature to help make your plans.

Beverly, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as a helpful and fun way to stay up to date on all the exciting experiences that await you when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
