We are planning a trip to Disney, leaving Feb. 27, but we don't want to book it until just a few weeks before we arrrive. How soon should it be booked?

    Hi Matt,

Planning a trip to Disney is so super exciting to me!  If you plan on taking your trip on Feb. 27, 2011, you should book now.  To check out some special offers, click here.  If you are a AAA Member, check to see if they are offering any specials during your planned dates.  If you are a Chase Disney Rewards Visa Cardholder, check their offers as well.

Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) can be made beginning 180 days prior to your visit.  Some of the more popular locations book up early.  You can make reservations online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.  Let me know if you need any suggestions.

If you are planning any tours or special experiences, (i.e., Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, The Pirates League, Keys to the Kingdom Tour, Backstage Magic Tour) you should go ahead and book those now as well.

While its not impossible to book a last minute trip (which can be fun and exciting), booking ahead of time usually offers a better chance of getting more of what you want during your visit.

Please let us know if you need suggestions as you plan your trip.  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
