We are planning a trip to Disney in late Nov. to early Dec. and we saw that the Swan and Dolphin offers dicounts to nurses. Do all the Disney deluxe and moderate resorts offer a nurses discount on vacation packages? Thank You for your help!

    Robert:

I saw that discount, too, at www.swananddolphin.com as I was researching my next trip to Disney last night!  I am not aware of Disney offering a special discount for nurses at this time, however, only the military.

Although the Swan and Dolphin are located on Disney property, they are actually Starwood properties (you know the guys who offer the "heavenly" beds?)  They provide many of the amenities that the Disney resorts offer like park transportation, but their discounts are offered separately from Disney's special offers.

If you have a nurse in your family, I'd really consider their discount and offer.  The Swan and Dolphin's promiximiity to the parks and the quality of their rooms and pool have made it our family's choice twice for stays, and for the money, it can be one of the best resort values on Disney property.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
