Hello, Alex and welcome to
planDisney!
Thank you kindly for consulting planDisney, I can certainly understand your great desire to document your experiences in video format while enjoying many beloved and new
Disneyland Resort attractions and entertainment, who wouldn’t want to retain those memories to reflect on back home?!
Alex, according to the current
Disneyland Resort Rules and Regulations “selfie sticks, hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices are not allowed in any theme park.” I have seen Guests use the GoPro that is secured by straps on my past visits, therefore, to avoid any disappointment, please contact
Disneyland Resort – Help Center for clarification and the final word. It would be unfortunate to bring your equipment along only to be refused the use of it.
Please check with Cast Members at attraction and entertainment entrances to receive clarification regarding filming rules. I do know that flash photography is not allowed on certain rides, rides that have a dark setting, and flash photography is not allowed in shows.
Tips:In preparation for your visit to the
Disneyland Resort please ensure you secure the required
Theme Park Reservations for each valid day of theme park admission for all in your travel party as this is the method of visiting the theme parks currently.
You may wish to utilize the convenience of the
Disney PhotoPass service during your visit which will enable everyone in your travel party to be captured in the magical memories during your visit.
Alex, it was my pleasure offering some guidance to a fellow Canadian and I wish you a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort.
