We are planning a trip to Disney in June for my daughters birthday . I have already made a reservation for BBB but I am afraid it will be too hot and very uncomfortable for my daughter to wear the princess dress all day. Are the dresses thick or scratchy?

    Hi there Rachel,

We are going on June as well. We're going to be there on the 8th so that we can go to Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekend! When my daughter was younger, I researched Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique just like you are now. I actually went in to check the dresses to see the differences between them. I also went to the parks to see how the kids reacted during the day.

Eventually, I decided that unless we were going to be taking pictures of my daughter with all the princesses, in front of the castle, or any other great location.... it wouldn't really be too much fun for her to be in the dress. She is not a big picture taker so she would have been tired from the beginning.

We've been to Walt Disney World in June and just being in a t-shirt and shorts is hot. So, I'm not sure if your daughter would be comfortable in the dress all day. I'd say if you really want her to get all dressed up, then let her wear it in the morning and take a change of clothes for later. You can always put the dress in a locker and pick it up on the way back to the resort.

Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel! I hope you have a wonderful day! See you in June!
