I am planning a trip to Disney with my husband and two children ages 6 and 5. I am wondering if we should get hopper passes all 6 days for the parks or no?.

Hi, Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by and visiting with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Park hopping is an adventure! If you enjoy spending time on the go, I would suggest getting purchase park hopper passes for your family. But seeing as though you will be there for 6 days, I would buy single day passes and enjoy each park to the fullest. You'll even have two extra days to re-visit to theme parks or spend some time at Disney Springs or in your resort pool relaxing.

With toddler-aged children, park hopping can be a bit tough, especially if this is your first Disney vacation. My children are the same age, and I've found that maximizing each park once daily is the perfect plan. You and your family will be able to exit and re-enter the same park all day, each day. So enjoy exploring and seeing what each park offers from dining to attractions to all of the character experiences. With our family, park hopping has caused us to rush through the parks to make sure that we use the value of our tickets.

Jennifer, I hope this gives you a better idea of which theme park tickets are best for your family. If you have more questions, please stop by and visit with us again.

    Happy planning!
