We are planning a trip to Disney in February. Our kids will be almost 5 and almost 2 when we travel. We are debating between a 1 bedroom villa at AKL and the Family Suite at AoA. Do you recommend one over the other based on our kids ages?

    Hi Erica!

Wow, that is a tough one!  Initially, my pick would be Animal Kingdom Lodge because I absolutely love this resort.  A one bedroom villa is beautiful and will have lots of room.  I love this resort because of the atmosphere.  My son loves to see the animals roaming around and I think the lodge has one of the most beautiful lobby's at Walt Disney World.  The elegance of the resort is also a definite draw and you can tell as soon as you step through those gorgeous lobby doors that you are in a deluxe resort.

Then there is the Art of Animation resort, which is simply fun.  The bright colors, the recognizable characters, the sketch drawings around the resort...beautiful.

Both of the resorts have their own appeal to them, so it really depends on your children.  Sit down with them, show them pictures of both resorts and ask them which they would like more.

    Have a magical day!
