    We are planning a trip to Disney in Feb and was wondering would you recommend staying at the Poly in a standard view room or the Contemporary with a magic kingdom view? Staying at Poly with magic kingdom view is not an option pricewise. Two boys 4 and 7

    Hi Kristin - Hmmm....it's been my experience that the standard view rooms at the Polynesian are usually less expensive than the Contemporary Tower rooms with Magic Kingdom (MK) view, although it is possible you have a discount available to you.  You may want to double check the rates you received if your intent is to find the room that is less expensive.

    As far as the view of MK at the Contemporary Tower - it's unbelievable!  Not only can you see the MK and the fireworks closeup from your balcony, you will also have a beautiful view of the Seven Seas Lagoon, the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian.  If your boys are like mine, they will probably also enjoy watching the monorails circle around the Lagoon and through the Contemporary.
