Hi there, Anga! Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel express! We're about to embark on a tour of the many
ways to get around the Walt Disney World Resort.
My family lives just an hour's drive away from Walt Disney World, so we always have a car with us when we're there. But most of the time, we still find ourselves boarding a bus or a monorail if we're Park hopping or exploring a Resort hotel. My son loves to ride the bus and look out the window as we're heading to...well, wherever the spirit takes us!
Walt Disney World buses do serve
Epcot from almost everywhere on property, with a few exceptions. If you're traveling from the Magic Kingdom Park, then yes, you'll need to
take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center and transfer to the Epcot monorail. Also, Resort hotels like Disney's Beach Club, Disney's Yacht Club, and Disney's BoardWalk Resorts won't have bus service to Epcot since you're just a short walk or boat ride away from the Park entrance at the International Gateway.
In addition, Disney doesn't offer transportation directly from Disney Springs to any of the Theme Parks, so if you're traveling from there, your best option is to take a bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort and walk to the International Gateway.
Otherwise, you can hop on a bus from any other Resort hotel or Theme Park and make your way to explore Epcot!
I hope this helps you plan your adventure at Walt Disney World, Anga. Please motor on over to see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
