Easter is another one of those special times to visit Walt Disney World! It can also tend to be one of the busiest weekends as many local guests like to bring their families into the parks.
The Magic Kingdom is the park that seems to celebrate the holiday the most with a wonderful Easter parade down Main Street. Of course the Easter bunny is there as well as our most famous guest, Mickey Mouse! As it gets closer you will be able to see the parade schedule and times for the park that weekend.
Several of the resorts will also hold special activities for their guests. You will need to be staying at that particular resort to participate and unfortunately they often do not publicize these activities until very close to the weekend. Some will have arts and crafts for the children while others might include egg hunts on their lawns. Fort Wilderness usually always has some sort of fun activity going on during the holiday. About a month out please feel free to call your resort where you will be staying to see if they have any plans scheduled.
In the past there have been Easter brunches offered but this has been spotty in the last few years. It is always good to keep aware of the latest news through many of the Disney websites that cater to the latest news going on.
