Hi, I am planning a trip to Disney in December. I will have 2 rooms. I am planning to get a Disney dining plan for the individuals in one room, second room no dining plan, can the dining credits be shared with the individuals in the second room?

    Hi Mary!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Disney Dining Plan is something I use every time I visit Walt Disney World, and I love the flexibility and convenience it offers. Everyone on the same Resort Reservation must be using the same Dining Plan, and while it is not linked to any actual dining reservations, unfortunately it may not be used to purchase a meal for anyone outside of your Resort Reservation, including the Guests in your second room.  You will still be dining together so advise your server at your table that some of you will be using your dining plan, and the others in your group will be paying by another method. The Disney Dining Plans are very flexible and it is entirely up to each individual Guest how they use their entitlements, and providing there are enough credits left on your account, you can use them in any way you please - maybe using more credits on one day, and less on another. The Dining Plans are available to use from time of check-in at your Resort hotel (if you check-in online, your Dining Plan can be used from 7.00am on your arrival day), until midnight on your day of departure.

Dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
