I am planning a trip to Disney for Christmas 2016. I (38) will be travelling with my son (5yrs), my daughter (10 months), and my husband (38). what parks/hotels would you recommend? this will be their 1st trip.

  • Oh my goodness Tenisha I'm truly excited to be helping you plan towards a magical 1st ever visit to Walt Disney World Resort for your lovely family combined with that most wonderful time of the year which of course is Christmas!

One of my favourite Disney Resorts to visit or indeed stay in during the Yuletide celebrations is Disney's Wilderness Lodge; this gorgeous Resort is filled to the rafters with old fashioned rustic charm and benefits from the most majestic and beautifully decorated Christmas tree I've ever seen.

With those dear little Mouseketeers you won't want to miss visiting the Magic Kingdom Park during the Holidays as it seems to glow and twinkle with even more enchantment and joy than usual plus you may wish to consider attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party where Guests are treated to a magical snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A; this unmissable hard ticket event is held on select nights in November and December.

For further inspiration be sure to check out this Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort link.

I'm sure with some extra pixie dusted help from all of us here at Disney Parks Moms Panel you'll enjoy a magical Christmas 2016 making memories with your dear family which are sure to last an entire lifetime.
