We are planning a trip to Disney Christmas time 2021. We want to do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas if it is available. What is usually the cost of an adult ticket? a child ticket?

Hello Tammi! I am glad to see that you are finding planDisney to be helpful with your advanced planning! All of us at planDisney recognize the importance of early planning! Giving yourself a year to get your ideas together is a great strategy! Your family is going to be well-prepared due to your work!

Like you, we are all excited (and hopeful) for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to return in the future! Magic Kingdom Park serves as the site of Mickey's merriment making! The party requires a separate admission ticket which ranges from lower priced tickets early in the season to higher priced tickets closer to Christmas. While ticket prices are always subject to change, we can look to 2019 prices to get a rough idea of cost.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party typically runs from early November through the week of Christmas. Ticket prices for the beginning of the party season in 2019 ranged from about $94/child to $99/adult. The latest dates on the calendar ranged from about $134/child to $139/adult. As Scrooge McDuck will remind you, tax is additional to these costs. Having attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party over the years, I can tell you that I believe this is a good value!

While the party is advertised as beginning at 7:00PM on party nights, Guests holding party tickets have traditionally been allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00PM with their party ticket! We always take advantage of these additional hours! In fact, we use the Christmas party as our only visit to Magic Kingdom Park during our vacation. We can usually experience all of our Magic Kingdom Park favorites from 4:00PM to midnight!

From catching snowflakes on Main Street, U.S.A. (yes, Disney makes it snow in Florida), to seeing Santa, and enjoying the Christmas decorations along with holiday food and desserts, this party has become a favorite in my family! We also enjoy try to enjoy a nice "Christmas dinner" at Liberty Tree Tavern. It has the perfect feel of a colonial Christmas.

Tammi, let me be one of the first to wish you a Merry Christmas! Come back to planDisney as you continue planning over the next year!
