Welcome to planDisney, Charles.
You’re never too old to be young at The Most Magical Place on Earth. More than once I've overheard someone say, "Can you believe some people go to Walt Disney World without kids!?" To which I reply, "Yes, people like me, in fact!" And then I spend the next three hours telling them why it's such a great idea!
Staying at Disney's BoardWalk Inn is a fantastic choice! Guests can savor the turn-of-the-century Atlantic City charm and Coney Island-style boardwalk. With dueling pianos and audience sing-a-long songs, the entertainment at
Jellyrolls is second-to-none. If you like to add a bit of sophistication to your drinks, then
AbracadaBar has some magic concoctions. The
Flying Fish welcomes back Guests later this month and is one of the best restaurants on property. Since you're only a short stroll from EPCOT, you're never far from delectable food and drink.
La Cava del Tequila and
Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar will make you think happy thoughts. Since you'll be there for EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, you'll also discover a delightful variety of
culinary arts.
There's also so much to experience at Disney Springs, including world-class restaurants and bars, Disney-themed shops, and breathtaking entertainment. My friends and I recently watched
Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney. This spectacular new show will make your happiness soar to infinity and beyond. If you're looking to treat yourself,
The Grand Floridian Spa offers a variety of services to refresh your mind, body, and spirit. You should also take a peek at the
Enchanting Extras Collection, which might just add that extra sprinkling of pixie dust onto your trip.
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour would be my personal pick of the bunch.
But more than anything, my wife and I enjoy the simple things – wandering around World Showcase in EPCOT at night, watching Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park, riding Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, immersing ourselves in Batuu at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
As Ursula says, "Life's full of tough choices, isn't it?" But what wonderful choices! Have an enchanting trip, Charles!
