We are planning a trip to disney around halloween.I have a couple question, what is better beach club villas or boardwalk villas? How long is the walk from beach v to boardwalk? Is the pool better at beach or board?I have 3 daughters age 9,6,2

    Hi Claudine,

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

The "which resort is better" question is always a tough one, because it really comes down to personal preference.  For me, I prefer the overall theming and feel of the Boardwalk Villas.  There is just something about the feeling of an era gone by on the mid-atlantic shore that attracts me.  Not to say that the Beach Club Villas aren't great, we really enjoyed our stay there but I really love the Boardwalk atmosphere.  The rooms will be pretty much the same in layout at either resort (comparing same level of accommodation studio vs. studio etc) but the decor and furnishings will be different.

If the pool is a major consideration, then I would have to say that the Beach Club Villas have this one hands-down.  Stormalong Bay is the most popular swimming pool on all of Disney property.

The nice thing about either resort is the proximity to the Boardwalk itself.  This is a wonderful place for shopping, dining and nighttime entertainment.  It's at the doorstep of the Boardwalk Villas and a quick 5-10 minute walk from the Beach Club Villas.

Before you make your decision, I suggest visiting the www.allearsnet.com website and browsing their accommodations section.  You will find a lot of great pictures of both of these resorts, as well as fact sheets that I am sure will prove helpful in making your decision.

    I hope this helps!
