I am planning a trip to Disney in April. Wanted to get a reservation for CRT while the firework show is happening. Do you recommend and what time to book to make a reservation to do this?

Hi there, Theresa! I love it when a Guest asks such specific questions! It’s a sign of great planning! It sounds as though a dining experience fit for royalty awaits you at Cinderella’s Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park!

Theresa, what you’re planning is certainly possible, but it will require “threading the needle.” Perhaps Gus and Jaq could help! The first thing that I recommend is checking the schedule for the nighttime fireworks show in Magic Kingdom Park. Currently, that schedule is only available through March 27, 2023. That evening’s showtime is scheduled for 9:00 PM. The current firework show is Disney Enchantment. The last evening for this special 50th anniversary firework show will be on April 2, 2023. It is highly anticipated that Happily Ever After will be the firework show to replace Disney Enchantment!

Next, you will want to make your advanced dining reservation for Cinderella’s Royal Table 60 days prior to your vacation arrival date. You can begin making your reservations at 6:00 AM, but I always get online by 5:30 AM because you might just find you can snag a reservation a little early. You’ll want to try to get a reservation time a little earlier than the scheduled start for the fireworks show. The last seating is usually just prior to 9:00 PM.

Theresa, keep in mind that Cinderella’s Royal Table is extremely popular! Make sure you mark your calendar for 60 days prior to your vacation arrival date. You’ll want to get online that morning to make this special reservation. Now, if you don’t get the reservation, don’t be disappointed. I find that watching the fireworks show from behind the castle, back by Gaston’s Tavern is a great location!

    Happy planning!
