Planning a trip and am in desperate need of help. My son has severe asthma and I need to know what type of weather and crowds to expect the week of March 15. Is it comparable to late April?

It is so tough to know what the weather is going to be during a specific week and we can only go by past experience and averages from the weather services.  The average weather for mid March is highs about 79 degrees and lows about 56 degrees with about 3.5 inches of rainfall.  The average weather for the end of April is highs about 86 with lows about 64 degrees and an average of about 3.1 inches of rainfall.  The biggest difference is generally felt in the humidity.  As you get closer to the summer months you will definitely feel the humidity getting higher which is most likely something you would want to consider with your son's asthma.

March is spring break month and it can carry on through April.  Easter is early this year and is on April 4 and the two weeks surrounding this holiday are always very crowded in the parks.  Mid March most likely would be moderate to somewhat crowded and the end of April moderate crowds. Hope this helps you make your vacation decisions!
