Planning our trip Dec 2017 with our 2.5yo and 5y9m (at time of travel)girls. If you had to choose one resort from each grouping, where do you recommend staying value, moderate, deluxe resorts? Why? And, do recommend booking room/park package?

Hi, Nicole! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I could literally talk about Walt Disney World Resort Hotel choices all day (seriously, ask my husband)! So I am not sure if I will adequately be able to answer these questions in the limited space I have, so please come back and ask us more! When it comes to Value Resort Hotels, my favorite is Disney’s Art of Animation Resort- your girls are sure to love the Little Mermaid Rooms or any of the Family Suites! For Moderate Resort Hotels, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside will forever hold a place in my heart as it was where we stayed during our honeymoon! Have you seen the Royal Guest Rooms!? As for Deluxe Resort Hotels, I would suggest staying at one on the Monorail loop to have easy access to Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. These include Disney’s Contemporary Resort, where your girls will love the magic of having the Monorail pass RIGHT THROUGH the hotel atrium, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort as well as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

As for booking a Magic Your Way Vacation Package versus a Room Only Reservation, I always like to check on the Special Offers and go with the option that is the most cost efficient. You can always book your magical vacation now and if a Special Offer comes out for your stay, you can possibly add-on the offer by contacting Disney Reservations.

Again, I could write SO much more so please come back to see us!
