We are planning a trip for Dec 21-27, 2013. Will there be mickeys Christmas party and if so, do you have to buy separate tickets? What the usual cost for the tickets?

Hi Trish!  Visiting Walt Disney World is magical at anytime of there year, but Christmas is by far the most magical time of the year.   Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special hard  ticketed event held on selected nights at Magic Kingdom, so yes an additional ticket purchase is required.  Dates for the party and ticket prices are generally not released until sometime late spring, last year the tickets were available for purchase starting May 1st.  For 2012, the last date of this special party was December 21st and tickets were priced $54.95-$67.95 for adults and $49.95-$62.95 for children.  Discounts are available for advance ticket purchase and there is a small price increase for more popular dates.  If you are hoping to attend the party on a date close to Christmas, I would purchase well in advance because the more popular dates quite frequently sell out.  You can purchase tickets by calling 1-407-WDISNEY (1-407-934-7639). Let me know if you have anymore questions, I would be thrilled to answer them!
