    I am planning a trip for this Dec at Christmas and was just wondering if there was a release date for the new magicband 2?

    Oh, my goodness. News of MagicBand 2's debut in Walt Disney World is so exciting!

    I cannot wait to see some of the new options on this very convenient technology, especially the versatility of the new design.

    Although there has been no official word on a release date for MagicBand 2, "soon" has been mentioned in the Disney Parks Blog post featuring the announcement. Check back there often for more information.

    For even more specific, but unofficial, information on MagicBand 2, take a look at AllEars.Net or WDWNT.com. Both of these unofficial sites feature posts with photos and fan speculation regarding the availability of MagicBand 2, announced at a recent D23 event.
