we are planning a trip for Dec. 2011 with 6 adults and 5 children - is there a villa that would accomodate all of us or should we book 3 rooms - also, is there constant transportation to the resort hotels from the parks

    Hi Teresa,

There are villas on Disney property that could comfortably accommodate your party of eleven.  What you need to ask for are three-bedroom villas.  Accommodations of this type have a full kitchen, private laundry facilities, three bedrooms, and three or four bathrooms.  Their stated capacity in most cases is twelve.  These incredibly spacious and luxurious accommodations can be found in Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, at Disney's Boardwalk Villas, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney's Old Key West Resort, and at DIsney's Animal Kingdom Villas. If your group would rather split up into three separate, more traditional guest rooms, that would also be an option.

As for transportation to the Disney theme parks, complimentary Disney buses, boats and monorails run constantly throughout the day for Disney resort guests.  They start running an hour before park opening and will continue to run for an hour or two after the parks have closed.

Wishing you a magical trip in December!  Don't hesitate to post more questions for us if there is anything else you'd like to know.
