Hi Bridget! Welcome to planDisney!
There's nothing better than a toddler running through
The Most Magical Place on Earth! I also have a little one who will be turning three on his next birthday and our trip to Walt Disney World Resort last year was SO incredible. At this age, they just can't get enough of the colors, the characters, and the true magic of the entire Resort. I love bringing my children when they're so little because it makes me see the Resort in a whole new light.
Celebrating your daughter's birthday is sure to make the trip even better! Want a few pro tips from a Mom who has been there?
1) Plan your schedule around nap time. Birthday celebrations are wonderful, (especially when they last an entire vacation) but so are naps! We love getting
Park Hopper Option Theme Park Tickets and taking a midday break to rest and recharge by our Resort's pool.
2) Grab a "Happy Birthday" button from the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or any Guest Relations window at the Parks. Your daughter will get so many extra "shout-outs" from Cast Members and other Guests, making her day extra special.
3) Speak with a "Dream Maker" at
Disney Floral & Gifts to set up a delivery of a special gift basket or balloon display to be sent right to your birthday girl in your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel room!
4) Make an Advance Dining Reservation at an entertaining
Character Dining Experience like Chef Mickey's or
Hollywood & Vine and order a special (completely edible)
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake for your party! These cakes can be ordered at many dining locations around the Resort and are big enough for your entire group to enjoy!
5) PRO-pro tip: Visit the Resort just before your daughter turns the magical age of three. Up until then, she's a special Guest of Mickey and does not need a ticket to enter the Parks. Save on this trip so you can plan another for her fourth birthday celebration!
Enjoy every magical moment with your birthday girl, Bridget!
