We are planning a trip to take my daughter for her 5th birthday. If we pay to park at Magic Kingdom and leave for a break and then come back, do we have to pay to park again? Thanks so much

Hey Kelley, welcome to planDisney! I'm over the moon to hear about your plans to celebrate your daughter's 5th birthday at The Most Magical Place on Earth! I promise that she'll have the best day ever!

I have some fantastic news for you! Once you've paid, you can leave and come back at any time on the same day, as long as there's capacity in the parking area. How cool is that? You can also switch to another Theme Park if you'd like and have a Park Hopper option on your ticket.

When you're traveling with little ones, I always recommend taking a break in the middle of the day, usually after lunch. I have two mouseketeers myself, and they can get super cranky if we try to spend a whole day at the parks. Going back to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and taking a nap or chilling by the pool will give them the energy boost they need to enjoy the rest of the day and be merry until the Happily Ever After time.

Kelley, if you're looking to make your daughter's birthday even more special, I have some suggestions. Firstly, don't forget to stop by Guest Relations and get your complimentary and personalized button. She'll love all the birthday wishes she'll receive from Guests and Cast Members throughout the day. Secondly, why not book a character dining experience? You have two options here: The Crystal Palace, where your whole family can join Winnie the Pooh and friends for a whimsical all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and Cinderella's Royal Table, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will bring your Princess inside the castle to enjoy a visit with Disney Princesses.

Last but not least, if you want to finish the day with an extra special and magical touch, I highly recommend the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party. Trust me, it's a hit with all ages! You can indulge in delectable desserts prepared by a pastry chef, such as chocolate-dipped strawberries and chocolate silk tarts, then enjoy the Happily Ever After fireworks extravaganza from a prime viewing area. The package also includes a variety of cheeses and refreshing beverages, including an assortment of beer and wine for Guests aged 21 and over.

I hope this helps, Kelley. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to come back to us at any time. We're here to help, and we hope that your celebration in November will be unforgettable for you and your entire family.

    Cheers
    Nilson
