We are planning a trip for 8/12/2010 to 8/19/2010. How are the crowds this time of year? We have been to Disney the second week of June - how would this compare to August. How far in advance should we book the room?

    Hi Debra,

I'm with you...always thinking ahead to the next vacation!  I think that you would find the August crowds very comparable to the June crowds (and both those months are less crowded than July).   The main difference will be the heat, August is one of the hottest months in Orlando so be sure to build some pool time into your schedule!

I often suggest booking your room as early as possible, especially if you limited in your travel date flexibility or really want a specific resort.  Keep in mind that if promotions come out in the meantime, you can always modify your reservation, based on availability, to take advantage of these deals.

    Hope this helps, happy planning!
